Getting Started
- How do I set up my first digest?
- Head to /signup, pick your topics in the onboarding wizard, and your first dispatch will land on your next scheduled run. Setup takes under 3 minutes.
- What topics can I cover?
- Almost anything — technology, finance, sport, culture, science, local news, or custom topics you define yourself. The onboarding wizard suggests sources automatically.
- Which email address does Pijon send from?
- All dispatches come from dispatch@pijon.io. Add it to your contacts to avoid the promotions tab.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. The free plan includes one digest per week, community access, and up to one active topic. Paid plans unlock more topics and deeper formats.
Your Digest
- What's the difference between Skim, Briefing, and Deep Dive?
- Skim is a ~5 min overview with the top headlines. Briefing is ~10 min with context and analysis. Deep Dive is a 15+ min long-form edition for your most important topics.
- Can I control when my digest arrives?
- All digests currently send Monday at 7:30 AM ET. Personalised delivery times are on the roadmap — your timezone preference in Settings is stored for when they ship.
- How does Pijon pick sources?
- We combine RSS feeds, news APIs, Reddit, Hacker News, and web search. During onboarding, we suggest sources and let you approve or remove them.
- Will I ever get the same story twice?
- Rarely. Our deduplication pipeline clusters stories by event and drops near-duplicates. If the same story breaks across multiple sources, you'll get one synthesised entry.
Account & Billing
- How do I upgrade or change my plan?
- Go to Settings → Billing. Changes take effect immediately. You'll be charged the prorated difference for the current billing cycle.
- Can I pause my digest?
- Yes. In Settings you can pause any individual digest or your whole account. Paused digests don't count toward your quota.
- How do I cancel?
- Cancel any time in Settings → Billing. Your account stays active until the end of the billing period, then reverts to free.
Delivery Issues
- I didn't get my digest today.
- Check spam/promotions first. If it's not there, the digest may have been skipped — this happens when there's not enough fresh material to justify sending. Check your digest history in the app.
- My digest arrived but has no articles.
- This is rare. If it happens, tap 'Regenerate' in the app or email hi@pijon.io with your digest ID and we'll look into it.
- I want to unsubscribe from emails.
- Every digest has an unsubscribe link in the footer. You can also manage email preferences in Settings.
